In this show of new circus and object manipulation, where no words are used, the bucket, or bakéké  in the Hawaiian language, an everyday object and used by most countries and cultures in the world, serves everything but its main function.

A curious and adventurous character creates multiple geometric constructions by manipulating buckets. Obstinate in the face of the impossible, this gentle dreamer offers us a playful and absurd vision of his obsession. When the unexpected happens, the buckets become objects to be played with and reinvented, which opens the door to a bizarre and dreamlike world.
Even if the failures continue to mount, he never stops bouncing back. With limitless optimism and unbounded generosity, his mistakes become the starting point for new experiences. Will his ambition lead him to confront his limits?

As a metaphor for our lives, Bakéké questions our capacity to face failure and recover from it.

A deceptively absurd and deliciously poetic philosophical tale.

BIO

Born on a rainy day in 1975 in the Italian Alps, Fabrizio passed his childhood running in his neighbours' fields, playing football and watching cartoons. After working as a pizzaiolo and a postman, he discovered the joy of juggling at the age of 26, and has dedicated himself fully to the passion since.
He continued to develop his technique by enrolling in 2001 at the circus school of Carampa (Madrid), then FLIC (Turin), as well as attending many workshops in clowning. He performed in numerous street art festivals during this time as well.
In 2012, he came to Toulouse to attend Le Lido school of circus. After completing the third year of the program, he created the company BettiCombo, building upon his artistic abilities and making acquaintances in the European circus scene. At the same time, he organized creative workshops on object manipulation and clowning in professional training centers for the circus arts.
His company BettiCombo won a prize at the festival Cirque de Demain, permitting great recognition and the launching of an international tour.

Now in a solo performance, with Bakéké, he combines the art of clown with the manipulation of objects.
