Erotic cinema on bike and mechanical humour... Oh là là, "Le Cinérotic" is back at FIMFA!
Action, laughter and sensuality! Cie Jamais 203 offers a sensual journey with Le Cinérotic, like the old fairground attractions of the cinema pioneers. An invention made up of three individual projection booths for spectators who love… bicycles! The filmmaker Roger Toulemonde, after having seen À Bout de Souffle and having identified himself with Godard, Belmondo, Tati, Hitchcock and James Bond, invites everyone at FIMFA to a new cinematographic genre: erotic cinema on bicycles.
Pleasure, sighs and laughter are guaranteed in this invention worthy of a grand prize at the Lépine competition. To reach the seventh heaven, each spectator just has to sit down, put his head under one of Yvonne’s skirts, Roger’s wife, and start pedaling to discover the deliciously vintage films selected by Roger Toulemonde and his team. The pedals allow you to open and close the curtains and operate a Super 8 film reel that will make you blush… Tempted?
A spicy and very pedaling fun that made its national debut at FIMFA Lx9 and that returns at the request of many spectators. Not to be missed!
BIO
Perhaps you have heard of the amateur filmmaker Roger Toulemonde? As early as 1959, he was projecting short 8mm films from his collection Les Vacances de Mr et Mme Toulemonde in his famous Peugeot 203, converted into a small cinema for 3 spectators. In 1966, he created Les Studios Roger out of an old carousel, to make his future feature film Jamais 2 sans 3! in which he played secret agent 00203!
In 1969 he created Le Cinérotic, together with his faithful accomplices Brian (a real English musician from England whom he met on holiday in Broadstairs) and "the guy Jean" (his projectionist-technician-artisan-baker as profession, but above all president of the Caméra-Club de Connerré).
The company Jamais 203 develops various artistic projects, between theatre, street arts and cinema at the Théâtre Epidaure, in Bouloire in the département of Sarthe. Founded in 1997, its work favours proximity, conviviality and exchange with the public. Images, theatre, objects and music are at the heart of their creations. It has presented its shows all over France and in Germany, England, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Hungary, Canada, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg.
Since 2004, the company has coordinated the Centre de Ressources Jeune Public Sarthe. In 2009 it took over the artistic direction of the Theatre Epidaure in Bouloire. In 2014, the ACTES association entrusted the company with the artistic coordination of its project and he also directs the PÉCANS project, which brings together schools, artists and cultural structures in the Nord Sarthe region around three pillars: encounters with works and artists, transmission of knowledge and artistic practice.
