Over 500 mousetraps shape a city full of towers, streets and buildings. Someone traces every shape and curve of this playground. With precise footwork, handstands and balanced acrobatics he searches through this place. The journey follows an unpredictable route towards what is hidden inside. Along the way, the mousetraps will snap shut whenever they please...
A performance on manipulation and new circus that blends fragile architectures made of mousetraps, a precise acrobatic puzzle-work, and... the wild catapulting of 100 radishes!
Bert creates projects that explore a silent and intimate atmosphere, where a world flourishes between the audience and the artist(s). His way of blending balance, dance, and a fascination with the 'infinitesimal' is often the foundation of it all.

BIO
Bert Berg is a circus artist who has studied and created performances in Brussels, Granada, Toulouse, and Stockholm. His foundation lies in (physical) theatre, hand balancing, contemporary dance, and juggling. The language he has developed over the years goes beyond the sum of these parts. He creates all kinds of pieces: from a spastic acrobatic solo in a Dogville-style living room, to universes sculpted from mousetraps, or a simple, joyful ode in a handstand to the existence of celery.
