A nocturnal adventure with puppets on an extraordinary bed, taking us on a fantastical journey, teetering on the edge between dream and reality.
Two characters on a vertical, mobile, and surprising bed that transforms and evolves. While bodies rest, spirits wander, taking us into the realm of dreams where anything can happen.
Between magic and absurd humour, but with a tender look at a couple driven by their imagination and who will wake up… different!
The French company Le Poisson Soluble presents a creation born from an encounter with playwright Jean Cagnard and the discovery of his unique universe, where the common things of life are altered and transformed.
BIO
Le Poisson Soluble has been based in Limbrassac, Ariège, since 2005. Le Poisson Soluble navigates the effervescent waters of puppetry, a universal art with multiple facets. Each show is an opportunity to propose an autonomous and original theatrical device at the crossroads of the visual arts and the performing arts.
Since its creation, the company has explored the themes of difference, otherness and our relationship with Earth, combined with formal research into original contemporary scenic writing.
Disciplines and tools intersect according to the need of the purpose: puppetry meets material theatre, gesture theatre, burlesque and graphic arts.
Their creations propose different levels of reading, encompassing different generations in their universe. Questioning our reality in a sensitive way is a concern they like to put at the forefront.
