OUTRO OLHAR - Trees are People Too

Com'Out Lisbon

29 Aug - 29 Sep

Nature will come to life in Lisbon. When we’re least expecting it, a tree will look at us with smiling eyes… seemingly wanting to get our attention!

A street installation being shown for the first time in Portugal, by a pair of artists known as Filthy Luker and Pedro Estrellas, who’ve been creating inflatable works of art for more than 20 years. Their fascinating and pioneering interventions capture the imagination of unsuspecting passers-by and they have managed to carve out a unique niche in the international urban art movement through their huge and innovative interventions, such as the iconic Tentacle Attack in which enormous inflatable tentacles come out of buildings.

In Lisbon the installation includes 10 pairs of eyes in 10 trees, on a route that goes from Saldanha to Cais do Sodré.
