Henrique Delgado Award 2019

21 March 2019 - World Puppetry Day - São Luiz Teatro Municipal

In its first edition, the Henrique Delgado Award was given to João Carneiro, journalist and theatre critic of newspaper Expresso, "for his decisive work in the dissemination, knowledge and visibility of Puppetry  and Animated Forms, as well as on other fields of the Performing Arts, excelled in the Portuguese scene of the national criticism by the quality of its texts published in the press."

The jury was composed by Miguel Falcão, Coordinating Professor at Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, Joaquim René, Executive Director of Teatro Municipal, and Rute Ribeiro, artistic director of A Tarumba and FIMFA.
