This workshop will act as a research and experimentation laboratory in the field of shadow theatre. Privileging the purely visual and plastic side of the narrative, participants will be invited to develop artistic projects based on the creation of shadow puppets and their animation process.
In recent shows, Tarumba has developed the treatment and animation of images with shadows and video with different devices, in addition to creative work around articulated two-dimensional figures made of paper or cardboard. We are now inviting participants to create an exploratory Shadowscope of experiences around light and shadow.
At the end, the works created during the workshop will be presented in an informal session.
