“Who came first, the egg or the chicken?”
Watch out! Two curious chicken creatures have escaped from the hen house! A chicken and an egg are wandering around the São Luiz Theatre…
Will we finally find out which one came first?
A surprising show with no apparent answer.
Come and discover them and see how lucky (or unlucky) you are to get in their way. These indiscreet characters like to explore and inspect, they peck and marvel at their discoveries, emitting unmelodious chuckles. They invite us to stop for a moment and appreciate their colours, vitality and quirky sense of humour.
This paradox embodies what is most unique to humans: the search for meaning. Who are we, where are we, why are we here?
Inspired by this famous question, the Théâtre Gudule, explores these two characters and gives them life in situ.

BIO
Théâtre Gudule has been working to fulfil our innermost desires for fun and poetry since 2021. The company likes to work with the arts of puppetry, the traditions of folk fairs, the plastic arts and music to create spectacular forms. Gudule shows us his mechanical tricks, his animated discoveries and shares all his absurd-poetic desires. One day, Gudule is going to hit the road with its artists, its sensational micro-creations and its popcorn stall… until then, Gudule wants joy.
